Week 4 Reflection: Aural/oral skill-building and Bookmarking

In this module, our focus revolved around websites aimed at enhancing students' oral communication skills and creating a social bookmarking platform.

Our teacher grouped us into four teams, allocating one hour for each group discussion, as per our usual routine. Within my group, which consisted of Phuong, Thu, Loc Huyen, and myself, Loc Huyen took on the role of the moderator. Her responsibilities included leading the discussion, summarizing our findings, and reporting back to our teacher.

To begin, we shared websites designed to improve students' speaking and listening skills. We found platforms such as  Epic, Razkid, BlabberizeListening lab to be exceptionally beneficial. Personally, I found these resources particularly valuable.

Our discussion then transitioned to the topic of creating a social bookmarking page, a task we had already undertaken. Amongst our group members, various websites were being employed for this purpose. However, the majority of us had gravitated toward Diigo due to its user-friendly interface and ease of use.

Upon the completion of our hour-long discussion, we were back to our Zoom class to listen to the other teams' discussions. At the conclusion of the lesson, our teacher provided feedback and introduced the next module's content, along with guidance on our forthcoming tasks.

It seems that this course consistently delivers fresh and practical insights, much like today's lesson. I feel confident in sharing these websites with my colleagues, believing they will prove instrumental in enhancing both their teaching methods and our students' learning experiences in the future.
